Killer Breakfast Burritos 3/10/2005

If you happen to live in the Pasadena area this is one of those places that does not need advertising. Word of mouth and the quality of the food keeps people coming back for more. This is not the healthiest stuff in the world so moderation is key. I personally enjoy their breakfast burrtios which are loaded with egg, hash browns, salsa and your choice of bacon or sausage. They're quite large enough to share with a friend. more

We call Lucky Boy ""BaconLand"" because of the incredible quantity and quality of bacon they load onto every breakfast. The World Famous Breakfast Burrito is amazing and don't miss the Bacon and Eggs with 3 eggs, hash browns, toast and at least 8 slices of bacon! An Atkins Heaven. Lucky Boy is by far the best fast food restaurant in the Los Angeles area. Its burgers are huge, juicy, and not expensive. But the menu has so many choices its impossible to decide on the actual best of the menu. There are many local characters there, and everyone that works there is genuine. My husband & I love this place. When we were moving to the area, people kept mentioning Lucky Boy's burgers. So, we tried it & we are now devotees. Typical service & ambience for a burger joint, but the food more than makes up for it. The burgers (turkey even!) & breakfast burritos are awesome as are the onion rings & zucchini fries. A restaurant any reviewer would dream of 2/11/2003

Although the restaurant itself is not in the best condition, the food is good and the price is better. A newcomer to Lucky Boy might consider the prices a little high, but would recant after they saw the portions and bit into the fine homage to mixed american cuisine. After frequenting the place several times, I have discovered their 'world famous breakfast burritos' truly could be as advertised. A jumble of breakfast foundations such as egg, bacon, and hashed potatoes, they are definitely a colossus addition to any diet, and make Lucky Boy considerably better than other breakfast-specific restaurants. more

I grew-up on this place literally! I had the delight to live a block away. I have all my friends hooked on Lucky's. if you wanna treat your taste buds to a delight have a burger and i promise even your vegeterian friends could't say no. I've had everything on the menu even the corn-dog my only execption is the vegi-burger. A great thing is that you can see your burger being built into its greatness right before your very eyes. My usual is the Bacon-CheeseBurger w/Avocado and a side of Fries w/a Chocolate Shake made from real ice-cream and dont forget the side of Ranch dressing for the fries or some Heinz 57. Pros: Most tasteful delight, best burger, You can hear the cow Cons: Not open 24hrs, Only cash more

Why the 110 ends here 5/15/2002

These are great burgers--that SoCal kind with the Russian dressing and huge tomato slices and just thick-enough patties. Excellent fries and rings as well. Eat here and your cardiologist can buy a new boat. Pros: great burgers Cons: limited seating more
