We had a great evening dinner there last night. The food was creative, well prepared, and there was plenty of it. The cakes were excellent, too. They were eager to customize an order. Pros: Tasty, great value, cozy Cons: byob more

Good but not a 10. 1/31/2003

My wife and I visited this place as it was featured on 002 Magazine. While I commend the efforts of the owners to follow their dreams and start a restaurant, unfortunately I can not say the same about the food. For starters, I ordered a chowder, t'was just way too salty, had to ask for a lemon to cut the salt on my chowder (surprisingly, made it soo much better). Ordered grilled tuna after, it was a bit over cooked, and once again too salty. I can't help but reminded of the movie ""Like Water for Chocolate"" - the food must be too salty maybe because the chef is not having a good day at the time. In any case, the head chef can use a little lesson in cooking and maybe on plating. Overall, it's a good place to dine if you don't mind your meal a bit salty. Pros: BYOB Cons: Inexpensive more

Great New Find 1/28/2003

The Food is amazing and service is very helpful. Entrees have a nice presentation and there is plenty to eat. You can tell that there is love and dedication put into preparing these meals. I have been there 3 times and have tried various dishes; they were all wonderful. If you love seafood- try the crabcakes - delicious! Pros: Affordable, Nice Atmosphere, Excellent Food more
