Lucinda's Day Spa

Lucindas Day Spa is a wonderful place to go and relax. They are extremely friendly and they have always accomodated my schedule. The prices are reasonable. The spa is very clean and there are different floors and rooms so no one interrupts you while you are relaxing. They just recently opened up a new spa, which I have not been to yet, but I heard it is incredible. more

To those unfamiliar with Scarborough, Lucinda's may be a bit difficult to find. However, with its seclusion comes the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Lucinda's is situated on beautifully manicured lawns and quiet forests. But inside is where the real relaxation begins. Lucinda's offers many spa services, my favorites are their manicures and massages. The relaxation begins in the waiting area, you'll be seated with a glass of water with lemon in comfortable chairs. Their manicurists are excellent with many nifty tricks to help your nails look better longer. All of their manicures are followed by a wonderful hand and arm massage. But Lucinda's Swedish massages are even better. Their massage rooms are quiet, private and relaxing with low lighting and soothing music playing. Their masseuses are professional and very well trained. Whether you're in need of a full day of pampering or just a quick manicure, Lucinda's is the spot! more

I used Lucinda's Day Spa for a pre-wedding treatment. I had some waxing and massage. Their prices are reasonable. I think I paid $15 dollars for my eye brow waxing which was a little bit more than the $10 I usually pay. For the most part everything else was comparable. They offer a wide variety of services from waxing and massages to manicures and pedicures to ear piercing. The staff was very friendly. Even after I missed my appointment due to the pre-wedding craziness, they told me to come in and they would take care of everything. Many thanks to everyone at Lucinda's for a wonderful day. more

Very challenging to find, as the sign at the edge of the driveway is small and the actual building is blocked by woods. However, Lucinda's is worth the hunt; it's a wonderful place to go for some pampering. The prices are very reasonable, around $20 for a manicure, and they offer free nail art that is very tasteful. There's plenty of parking, which is great. It's in a converted house, so it has a unique style and interior that's very professional in appearance. There is absolutely no typical nail salon smell here, which is my favorite aspect, as they do not use those harsh chemicals. more
