great BBQ but pricey 8/14/2005

I love this place. They have great BBQ. I get the st. louis style ribs. Sooooo yummy. They bring you alot of food. It can get pricey but worth it. Don't go for lunch becuase the prices are the same. $13 for a salad. I think that's waaaay too much. But great for dinner when your in the mood for ribs. Pros: BBQ Cons: pricey more

Food not bad, servers have attitude 8/3/2005

Not sure if they were just having a bad day, but the night we went, the servers had major attitude. It made us look skeptically at the menu and the food. But overall, we were pleased. The menu needs some work, though, as I didn't feel it had much variety. Portions are huge, so definitely come with an appetite or friend to share your meal. Pros: location, side orders Cons: service, too crowded more

Better as Hof's Hut 6/13/2005

I used to frequent the place when it was Hof's Hut. It was one of the best upscale family restaurants in the area. The change to Lucille's is a real disappointment. After 2 visits, no more. Over priced, tough, chewy ribs, boring sauce, really a bad place for bbq. To be fair it did have a good design and vibe to it but the food was chain style, institutional bbq. Cons: high prices, bad ribs, sauce more
