Very seldom am I moved to tears when I eat food and not because the food is bad. I felt like that food critic in ratatouille when he flashed back to his childhood and was transformed from a stick in the mud into a joyful kindhearted friend. Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ would get 6 stars if I could. If you are in the neighborhood and have the chance, don't let anyone change your mind, go eat the best Smokehouse BBQ around. Then take some of their world famous BBQ sauce home for later. Pros: Delicious food, Great ambiance, did i mention delicious food Cons: Food is so good the wait for a table can be long more

Best BBQ in Rancho Cucamonga 10/25/2008

I love the service at Lucille's, and love the food. Liz was my server on a very busy friday night during happy hour. Kept up with our orders, being very courteous. Of course the place was packed. Two nights before we were at Famous Dave's, man what an awful experience that was! The service was slow, the fries, and corn on the cob COLD! No butter offered for the corn. The bbq was salty. Please stick with Lucille's, a much, much better place for your time and money. thanks, JD Pros: Very good people, courteous, friendly, they know what they're doing! Cons: Busy place, we had people next to our table waiting for us to leave. more

I go here as often as I can!! and i live 45 miles away!! 8/19/2008

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have a friend who lives in Upland. and every time I visit her we usually will go see a movie at Victora Gardens. BUT FIRST we walk over to Lucille's, belly up to the bar (no kids then) and feast on as much BBQ as we can!! the mashed sweet potato's is a heavenly delight and the BBQ tri tip is melt in your mouth. The decor is a blast and the staff is always top notch friendly. Pros: The decor, the bar, the BBQ Cons: sometimes can get over crowded. go early on weekends more

Great BBQ 8/15/2007

We've been there a couple of times on Sunday nights and they are so packed!! Food is great and comes in pretty big portions. Service is also great. However, the wait is very long! But it was worth it. Pros: Food, Ambiance Cons: Long Wait more

Delicious, But A Bit Pricey With a LONG Wait 7/16/2007

BEST BBQ I'VE EVER TASTED!! 4/13/2007

BEING RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND I DECIDED TO TRY IT OUT, I HAVE TO SAY THIS IS THE BEST BBQ I HAVE EVER TASTED, LOVE THE FOOD!! AND THE STRAWBERRY MARGARITAS ARE THE BEST!! IF YOU DECIDE TO GO TRY THE BBQ BEEF RIBS AND THEIR FAMOUS MACARONI AND CHEESE. Pros: BIG INSIDE/GOOD ATMOSPHERE Cons: WAIT A WHILE FOR SERVICE more

If you want barbeque, you have to come here. 1/2/2007

Been to the Lucille's in rancho since it opened with Victoria Gardens. I have NEVER been disappointed. The only con I can find to this place is that it's so good and popular that it's always busy. But don't fret, it's never as long as they tell you it's gonna be (longest I was ever told was 45 minutes and that was yesterday, 1/1/07 at 6pm and I was seated in about 25-30). The portions are HUGE. My entire family consists of big eaters and we always leave with leftovers. The tri-tip is very good, the pulled pork is awesome (ask for it without the red sauce and add your own BBQ sauce at the table. The chicken is sweet moist and tender with all the flavors you'd expect from BBQ. But on to the main item, RIBS RIBS RIBS! You chosse from baby back, beef, or St. Louis. The beef ribs are very good but I just hate to pay for equal parts of bone and meat but then again anywhere else that has beef ribs has about 85% bone and maybe a little beef so that's a big plus. The baby back ribs are excellent, meaty and moist throughout. But my favorite is the St. Louis style. Man oh man....practically all meat!!!!!!! You sometimes worry that you're gonna eat bone because you're sure there HAS to be one in there. You'll find it eventually but just dig into that meat with all you got. Never a disappointment!!! The sides are excellent as well depending on your tastes. I love the garlic mashed potatoes (EVERYONE does), the baked beans are great (some people say they be a pinch too sweet but thats how I like em), the peanut slaw is GREEEAT if you're into slaw (has a little extra vinegar kick to it so be ready...it's really good though), mac and cheese is OK (great for kids). They also offer baked potatoes, shoestring fries, potato salad, and fire roasted corn on the cob. Excellent appetizers (my faves are the Dixie eggrolls, jalapeno poppers, and you gotta try the Tri-Tip Quesadilla). Great bar selection! Have fun!!! Service can be slow during busy times but usually excellent. more

Lick your fingers! 12/13/2006

I'm a frequent customer at Lucilles...I've been to a couple of their branches. They have the best bbq sauce, and delicious, mouth-watering baby back ribs. I also enjoy their sweet tea. My dude loooooves their moist, freshly baked biscuits topped with honey-flavored buttercream... fattening though! And for those folks from the south looking for fried green tomatoes, this is the place to go. Their cajun prawn appetizer is also a good choice. For a party of 2-4, it would be wiser to share a combo because the portions are large. more

Big Tasty Food, Great Service 4/23/2006

Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Great experience. The food was quality. Too much of it though. Wish we could have paid half price and got half the amount. The meats were very good, moist, tasty. The mac and cheese lacked flavor. The biscuits are the best! The desserts sounded great, but we were too full to try them. more
