Luana Inn sits on a hill side with a great view of the ocean, beach, and Kealakekua Bay (Best Snorkeling spot on Island). The beach is in walking distance and it's about 15 minutes to Kona. Our room was spacious, clean, and we were satisfied with the amenities. Ken and Erin were great hosts. Erin is a great cook and we enjoyed the breakfasts. There's a pool and hot tub also. The only minor item which is more a personal preference is the room we stayed at is carpeted and we like hard wood floors, especially in the tropics. It's great that they have a no shoe policy in the rooms and indoors. I would recommend the Luana Inn to anyone planning a visit to the Big Island.
