Lowe's of Springfield

Good: Lowe's two Springfield stores are organized, clean and bright. They both offer a very good cross section of contractor grade materials at competitive prices. That's all they have in common though. Customer Service is like the difference of night and day.. Bad: If you want the best chance of having a young, uneducated female snarl at you, belittle you and insinuate that you stole merchandise, buy something from Lowe's, lose your receipt and return it to the Glenstone location. You will be guaranteed a repulsive reception with snide remarks sarcastically stated loud enough for that female clerk to get her kicks by embarrassing you. Bitter! On the other hand, return it to the North Springfield store and be greeted with a welcoming smile and a speedy resolution.. Improvements: The Norht store management and employees could teach the South store their excellent customer service skills. That way, I would not have to drive from South Springfield to the North store to buy from Lowe's and have a pleasant experience.. Other: I have seen some improvement in the Glenstone Lowe's and would like to see it continue until they reach the Customer Service level of the North Store.. more

Lowe's is a nice place. I always think it is a bit nicer than the Home Depot. It just seems more personable and a little less like a warehouse and more like an actual store. So I like shopping here. Their parking lot though is sometimes difficult to navigate through on a busy weekend. It gets frustrating sometimes. Prices are comparable to Home Depot and to other hardware stores. The selection is a bit different usually though and they carry some unique brands. An overall nice place. more
