Lowery Animal Hospital

I have been using Dr. Lowery for years. He has been the only vet that I will use for all of my animals. The staff are caring and courteous. They explain exactly what is going on with your animal and then break down the cost of each procedure. The prices are affordable. Since I have 4 dogs that is a real plus! I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! We love Dr. Lowery! more

I'm surprised to hear about the negative review. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at the vet hospital. Anytime I have had to go in for a visit, the office staff has been easy to work with and cordial on the phone. I trust this vet and would continue to trust them. more

While working in the area, I had to have my 7 yr old Jap. Chin seen. This dr was very friendly, verified up to dates shots with my vet back home. Treated my dog and was very knowledgable. I will use again, while in the area! Pros: Takes new patients more

I went to have my senior Mini Schnauzer looked at. She had an eye infection. When we arrived we were meet by the female Dr. and she looked at my dog and did a test with a little piece of paper to determine no tear production. Then washed out her eyes with saline and prescribed her some eye salve. I asked if they could trim her nails while we were there. Since my dog is so old and has arthritis, I am always afraid to clip them. She said NEXT time I come in and left the room. Next thing I know I have a bill for $180. They made me get shots for my dog that a previous vet told me that she was not well enough to have. She was 13 years old and I was trying to make her as comfortable as possible. They made me feel like I was not taking care of my dog. She was 13 years old. I was doing all I could for her. \r \r Three weeks later we had to have her put down. (NOT at Lowery's) So Lowery's was not sensitive enought to let me know her current condition and took advantage of getting as much procedure and prescriptions out of me as possible and then wouldn't even trim her nails which I guess would have required to much work on thier part. \r \r Stay away!! I LOVE Saraland Vetrinarian Clinic (251) 679-0370?. They are VERY affordable and are very thorough and personable. Can't say enough good things about them.
