Where's Kelly? 4/28/2012

bI heard that Kelly was a good mechanic, but how is he going to work on my car when he is currently sitting in the Adams County Jail awaiting sentencing June 29 on the six child molestation convictions that were handed down against him this week? It seems Kelly isn't the good guy he is portrayed to be in these other reviews and in the testimonials on his website. Quite the opposite really. We never know what double lives people around us may be leading. Kelly will be spending the rest of his life in prison where they don't like child molesters all that much. Shame shame on you Kelly. Now when can someone work on my car? more

Kelly from Lovejoy Automotive always does a nice job. I mean it's his name on the building, so of course he wants to do a good job. He built a whole new engine for my car, and got it done before the time he gave me. Plus, he did all the legwork with getting the extended service figured out for me. I would absolutely go back to him again, in fact I have an appointment to see him next week. more

Excellent Service, Very Flexible 3/8/2012

Have been using Lovejoy for awhile now. Kelly is always very friendly and does excellent work. If you are looking for an honest mechanic that wont scheme up bogus repairs, Kelly is your guy. I am oncall for my job and Kelly really does accomodate my crazy schedule. I am extremely happy with his service. more

Fabulous! I had an emergency situation, and my husband is military and away. I called Kelly and he took very good care of me. He worked late to get me my car back and he did not charge me for that. He was just really great. I hope a lot of people use this company. They are really great. more

Can't be happier with the service. 1/23/2012

My radiator was leaking, and at first I thought it was the thermostat, so I called Lovejoy Automotive because I know Kelly over there. I needed my truck for work withing 5 hours and he told me to bring it down. When he went through it, he realized that it wasn't the thermostat, but that I needed the radiator flushed, so he did that for me. He actually did it twice, to make sure that it ran great, and I can't be happier with his service. more

Kelly is always professional. He is very timely in all the work he has done for me. He has worked on a couple of my vehicles and he gives me a great price. They always have done a great job for me. I have used them the last two years. more

good honest service 12/16/2011

I've used Lovejoy one other time. I surprisingly found him on Craigslist. He worked on my Land Rover at a much lower cost than the dealership and was honest about the needs of the vehicle. I would use Kelly again for major work on my car. I live approximately 40 miles away so the routine maintenance is done near my home. more

While living in the Thornton, CO area between Sept 2010 and Sept 2011, my 2006 Hyundai Elantra reached the 60,000 mile mark and was in need of a new timing belt and related parts. I searched online and, after reading the reviews (no anonymous postings, or just initials at Lovejoy Automotive's Web site), I decided to make an appointment. Kelly Lovejoy walked me through every step of the way, explained his recommendations for necessary parts, and also explained the things that could wait a while. I was going to be driving back to Phoenix, AZ (over 900 miles) within three weeks of completion of the maintenance and did so with complete confidence that my car was safe. It is now almost three months later and I wish to belatedly thank Kelly for his courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend Lovejoy Automotive. more

Honest and trustworthy mechanic. 9/28/2011

Kelly at Lovejoy Automotive is a very good mechanic. He knows exactly what he's talking about. Personally, I'm not very good with cars, but Kelly will tell me what to look out for. I am very picky about who works on my vehicle, and go to Kelly because I know I can trust him. I've been using to Lovejoy for about a year now, but I've know Kelly longer. The last time I was there, I had my oil changed and new spark plugs put in. If you're looking for a good mechanic, you should really consider going there. Kelly is very honest, and he's been fixing cars for a long time. more

Great Service + Quality Work = Highly Recommended! 9/9/2011

Took my truck in for work on my front end suspension after comparing prices with a few other spots. Repair job was great feels like night and day when I turn now. The friendly staff was an added bonus. After getting burned by another shop in this area I was very cautious so I waited a month to write the review.. My truck is still running like a champ and my opinion is still the same of the service and quality of work. You have a repeat customer with me! more

Top Drawer 7/1/2011

Kelly Lovejoy did everything on time exactly as he said he would. Friendly welcoming atmosphere with no pressure. Kelly was straight up honest and Informed me the value of using oem parts. He fixed a job that a major chain recently did by using cheap parts at alot lower price using oem parts. Best part he saved me coffee money by offering me a discount when I arrived to pay with Cash. Great Experience thanks! more

A year ago I moved to the area. One of my top concerns is who here could do great work on my Audi. I found Lovejoy on line, read all of the great reviews and took a chance. I am so glad I did. Kelly went out of his way to help me. The work seems perfect. Kelly is a great guy. And a auto shop that is actually clean. You know something good is going on. I couldn't be happier. more

No hassle service from an honest mechanic. 6/27/2011

I've been using Lovejoy Automotive for about three years now. I like them, because they do everything they say they will, and do it on time. They time factor is a big deal to me. So many mechanics I've used in the past will make excuses about why they are taking a long time with your vehicle, whether it's parts they can't get, or whatever. This is never an issue with Lovejoy. I also like that they are thorough when explaining what is wrong with your car, and why it's happening. They never do any unnecessary work, and for what they actually do, the prices are fair. They are also very pleasant to work with on a personal level. They have fixed my brakes, a radio antenna, repaired my oxygen sensor, and have done all sorts of troubleshooting. Overall, I'm very happy with their service. Everything has worked out great. Dee Derland more
