Love Garden has thousands of used cds, not just junkers either. I have bought at least 10 there. prices a little high, $9 standard for recent, some lower, but ya gotta support the local merchants. They have expanded over the years into new CDs as well. Used vinyl for those inclined. Cats on site, provide ambience. Staff is quiet, not in your face. It appears the othe rreviewer did not gain entrance to the store then just made stuff up!!! more

They say that they are a cd and accessory store and that you can buy, sell, and trade but it appears that the business’s primary product is not music. The shop is dark and incense is always burning. The staff are no where to be seen and when are present are less than friendly. more

A great place for Vintage records and used and new C.D.s 10/19/2005

Love Garden, right above the Toy Store, is a great place to find c.d.'s, records, and tapes. They have many different genres to choose from, so any music preference is accomadated. Another nice feature is that they have both new and used c.d's, so you can even shop there on a budget. Their staff is knowlegable and friendly, and their 3 cats are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute. This is the Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-fect place for your listening pleasure. more

Independent Music Store 9/20/2005

The Love Garden is located in downtown Lawrence in a large upstairs room. The Love Garden offers CDs and other music fare such as Vinyl and posters. The Love Garden is a great place to go to purchase something or simply to browse. The store is fun and the employees are helpful. more

Love this place 8/17/2005

If you want a rocking atmosphere and a great staff...lovegarden is the place to shop. I love the cats just laying all over the place...where else can you find suck a cool place. They have a great selection of anything. I went in there looking for some of the oldest most off the wall cds and actually was able to find them. The staff is super friendly too! more

Best Used Music Store in Lawrence 8/6/2005

Whenever I want a cheap CD, I don't go to Hastings, I got to The Love Garden. I bought the Green Day CD there and it was much cheaper at the Love Garden than any other place. I like watching the cats run around in the store because they are soothing while I purchase my music, however weird that might be. They also have a huge LP collection for all of the folks in Lawrence that like such a thing, which there are a lot I'm sure, I'm just not one of them. They also support local sounds like the get up kids, and I appreciate that. Five stars. more

the BEST local music store, ever! 6/19/2005

Wow! What a neat store, with rare records, used CD's that are very affordable, and a good new releases section. Their sales associates are helpful and knowledgeable about music! A must see! more
