I just stumbled upon these reviews when I looked up the phone number online to call and make an appointment for my dog. I am honestly SHOCKED and DISTURBED that people have had such bad experiences at Lovan Care. I have been bringing my 3 dogs and cat here since The previous owner dies and the current Dr purchased the clinic. My pets have had amazing care and one even had an emergency surgery and was there for a week after. I was called every day and sometimes twice with updates on my dog and the bill was not overly expensive like some of you have stated. I wonder if any of you have gone to other veterinary clinics here in town, or maybe even A&M...because you will surely walk out with a bill of more than $300.00 there! I have also boarded my dogs and attended a doggy birthday party at Lovan Care and was amazed at how attentive the staff was at playing with the pets and cleaning up any messes that happened. My dogs always leave their happy and tired from the play time they have. I really think that before people write a negative review they should remember that animals cannot tell us what is wrong with them so being a Veterinarian is not as easy as people think, I can say this because I am in the human medical field. Medical care is expensive and the only reason we all get spoiled is because we have insurance where our pets do not. Pets pee and poop inside sometimes, it is what happens...there may be a little odor, that does not mean the hospital or Boarding facility is not clean....these are ANIMALS!!! \r
I hope people read this and really consider the things I have said. I love Lovan Care and have sent many of my human Physician and Nurse friends there with their pets and they have no complaints at all! I even know a few Vets at A&M that board their pets there... The Dr and staff are nice, caring people, if they were not they would not be in the profession they are in!\r
