After having been a paying on-time member of LAC for 5 years, I called to cancel my membership. The girl with whom I spoke was ice-cold and rude. She said I needed to pay for one month beyond when I gave notice, and that if I didn't, or if I tried to stop them from taking the money off my credit card, they'd take it to collections. No customer deserves to be treated in such a manner. How about a little appreciation for my 5 years of business instead?
