Finally re-opening after Katrina 6/25/2006

Louisiana Children's Museum is a great place to spend some time with your children while visiting the "Sin City" - this is definitely a squeaky clean place in every sense of the word. This wonderful place finally reopened Friday, June 23rd after being closed for 10 months due to Katrina. The leaking roof caused a lot of interior damage and after a lenghty battle with the insurance the museum has finally been repaired. So come on down, everybody, and have a good time! more

Great museum to bring the kids 8/21/2005

The Louisiana Children's Museum, in the warehouse district, very close to the Convention Center, offers fun for the whole friendly, with its many kid-oriented exhibits. It's also a great place for a kid's birthday party, with many different rooms to play in, and no end of things to do. In 2004 it was rated the best children's museum in the country. more

Experience and Features: Wow. What a fun place even if you’re not a little tike. Cool science type attractions that are interesting to kids. The baseball pitch speed game is very cool. Atmosphere: Large spacious are to get around in. keep an eye on the kiddies because they can get lost easily. Location: Warehouse district off Julia street. more

Children's Museum - not just for kid's 7/14/2005

Children's Museum isn't a museum just for kids. It's a spectacular place to let children explore science. Everything in the museum is hands on. Little children have a separate section where they can cut loose and play. There is even a section for children with special needs to play and explore according to their abilities. more
