I've been to many churches in my life and enjoyed most of them. My husband and I had considered going to this church for a long time before we finally made a point of going. However, I knew from the moment I stepped through the door that this was the place for us. The greeters were so friendly that I had to check with my husband to make sure we didn't know them. They treated us like old friends. There are people of all ages at the church, so our kids have plenty of friends that they've made in their classes. The pastor is very open and down-to-earth. He's very easy to talk to. Just to warn you though, he's not afraid to step on your toes with his sermons. This really isn't a bad thing if you're looking to grow in Christ, but some people can't handle being told something they don't want to hear. He preaches straight from the word of God and helps you understand how to apply it to your life. He doesn't claim to be perfect and often admits his own faults, lest you believe that he thinks himself somehow better than you. The people in this church understand the servant-leadership that Christ so often taught about. There are plenty of areas to get involved in should you choose to join the church. It's just such a welcoming place to be. With a minimum of effort, you can make many close and caring friends. I could never recommend another church more than I recommend this one.
Pros: Friendly, loving people and a pastor who is interested in his congregation
Cons: No glitz and glamour - if you're looking for that sort of thing
