My boyfriend and I are regulars at El Paisa. And there's a reason for it, this restaurant is a wonderful little hole-in-the-wall place with really friendly staff and excellent food. The main indoor dining room has only about 10 tables, so there may be a wait in the colder months. However, when the weather is nice, there is much more seating outside on the patio. Short wait or not, it's worth it. The food is really well priced, especially for the quantity you get. I recommend the Flautas: 2 HUGE tightly rolled tortillas filled with chicken, sour cream and cheese. It comes with a healthy sized portion of mexican rice. Not to mention lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. My boyfriend loves the Mole. And for an appetizer, get the taquitos. They are so good. Their sopapillas and fried icecream are to die for.
Pros: Price, quantity, quaintness, friendliness, most of all FOOD
Cons: Soda refills are sometimes hard to come by
