Best

One of the best places to eat in Binghamton. Good food, good service. You can always get a nice sandwich, a good salad, or a delicious dessert. It can get pretty crowded, though, ...

An eclectic and campy sort of restaurant The Lost Dog has a great variety of coffees as well as meals ranging from vegan to beef lovers meals. Whether your enjoying simple lunch fare of sun dried tomato dip with baked pita wedges or a dinner of Wasabi Crusted Scallops with a side of their famous Sweet Potato Fries, your taste buds will be clammoring for more of this great food which will keep you coming back to try more and more of their specialty dishes. Live Jazz and Blues complete the dinner hours at The Dog making you feel relaxed after a busy day. The Staff is friendly, the food is good and the company is great at The Lost Dog. more

A new dining experience every time 1/7/2006

I fell in love with Lost Dog Cafe from the first lunch that I've had there. If you are looking to save money and have a simple dinner this may not be for you. However, if you are looking for a decent dinner regardless of price or cuisine then Lost Dog will cater to that. I have tried many dishes from there - none that have disappointed me - but my personal favorite is the Gulf Coast Pasta - linguine in a vodka sauce with crab, lobster, and shrimp. There are quite a few pasta dishes on the menu as well, and each is unique. For those who want a lighter fare, there are sandwiches and salads (the grilled chicken salad is great) Lost Dog has a wine and beer selection as well, and of course the coffee. The coffee menu is extensive from their house blend to their lattes (I recommend the mint one - I think it's named the "Girl Scout"). Last but not least, the desserts. Mambo Chocolate Love is a must, especially with the banana ice cream. That has to be more decadent than any dessert that I've ever had. Just make sure you ask for two spoons. Trust me. more

Eclectic Food 9/4/2005

The Lost Dog Cafe has probably the most eclectic menu of foods in the Southern Tier. They have a wide variety of vegetarian foods, and the best loose tea. The only downfall is that they have strange hours and often aren't open when you're craving their food. My favorite dish is definitely the falafel sandwich. They carry good desserts and a killer Italian Creme Soda. more
