I fell in love with Lost Dog Cafe from the first lunch that I've had there. If you are looking to save money and have a simple dinner this may not be for you. However, if you are looking for a decent dinner regardless of price or cuisine then Lost Dog will cater to that.
I have tried many dishes from there - none that have disappointed me - but my personal favorite is the Gulf Coast Pasta - linguine in a vodka sauce with crab, lobster, and shrimp. There are quite a few pasta dishes on the menu as well, and each is unique. For those who want a lighter fare, there are sandwiches and salads (the grilled chicken salad is great)
Lost Dog has a wine and beer selection as well, and of course the coffee. The coffee menu is extensive from their house blend to their lattes (I recommend the mint one - I think it's named the "Girl Scout").
Last but not least, the desserts. Mambo Chocolate Love is a must, especially with the banana ice cream. That has to be more decadent than any dessert that I've ever had. Just make sure you ask for two spoons. Trust me.
