Lost Coast Brewery & Cafe

I am not a huge beer fan, but every now and then I find a beer that really impresses me. The Lost Coast Brewery has their own creation called Great White- it's a pale ale, that if I remember correctly, has a hint of lemon/citrus. It's SO good. This isn't the only thing I love about LCB, though. They have a great selection of food items on their menu- my favorite being the deep fried artichoke hearts. Ok, how many restaurants can say they offer this delight? Not many. And theirs is of course beer-battered. MMM.In the back is a great lounge area with pool tables, and such. My husband and I had great fun at the LCB on our engagement night. I would recommend this place over even the Humboldt Brewery- which is usually packed with college students. LCB is the way to go! more

Lost Coast is one of my favorite hang outs. It is a great place for lunch or dinner and adds just enough Humboldt style to take you family and guests. This local beer is hard to beat and the wings, Hot Brown sandwich and Stew are the best in town. This is the only place on the 101 to find WIFI in Eureka! So grap your lab top, some wings and a beer!!!! more

The Lost Coast Brewery is my favorite brewery in the area. And from the crowds in there some times I think it might be that for lots of folks. Their menu hasn’t changed in awhile, but that is a good thing. You can always get your favorite. My personal favorites are the Stew (yum!), the Hot Brown sandwich, and the Hot wings. If visiting here for your first time, take some time to look at the local art around that place. Most of it is from local artist Duane Platmo. Great stuff. You might be able to find there beer all over, but you can only eat at their one Brewery. more
