Best Mexican Place in Rome 6/2/2006

From their Texas Fajitas with the shrimp, beef, and chicken to their simply wonderful (and my favorite) Loco Pollo (rice, chicken and cheese dip), Los Portales is a mexican restaurant done right. We go there whenever we want mexican because its reasonably priced, has the best flavor, and although its always packed we have never had to wait for a seat. I couldn't even think of going anywhere else! more

Fast Good Service 7/24/2005

Los Portales is a great place to take groups of people and get quick quality service. There is rarely a wait because the facility is so big. It is especially fun to visit on Saturday nights because they have karaoke. It is a very family oriented place. Alcohol is served but there are never rowdy customers that get out of control. I enjoy visiting there for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that has never been there before. It is good mexican food fast. My favorite entree is Loco Rice with Chicken. It is rice, chicken and mexican cheese. more

Yummy! 7/21/2005

What great Mexican food! They have a menu full of wonderful items to choose from. Their prices are very reasonable and they keep the chips and salsa coming. Their restaurant is decorated very nicely. They have a great staff and most of them have been with the restaurant since they opened years ago. They have a nice glassed in patio area that is always pleasant to sit and eat in. They even have kareoke on Saturdays. Definitely check them out if you have a taste for Mexican! more
