I have been to this restaurant several times in the past year. Each time the food and service have been exceptional! I have been in the Dallas area for 1.5 years and tried many mexican restaurants. This one is by far the most authentic and best tasting food!! Also, if you like live music and a cozy setting, this is also the place for you! Prices are very reasonable for what you get too. I think I may need to give Los Jalapenos another chance because my first experience there was not great. I love a few of the restaurants at that intersection and I think I may have been a little bitter that we went there over a couple of my favorites, but the fajitas were surprisingly good. My husband and I went to this restaurant for our Saturday date night. We were charged extra for corn tortillas for our fajitas without being told until we questioned the check. The grilled shrimp that came with the combo fajitas were very bland and did not have any flavor. \r \r We were talking and having drinks at the table after we were finished eating and both the waitstaff and the manager asked us to move to the bar even though there were lots of other tables open. Excellent complimentary chips & salsa. Tasty enchilladas. Very good combo fajitas. Kids absolutely love the tacos and recommend it every time we go. Service has always been good.
