Wonderful grounds and staff 3/14/2011

I had the pleasure of staying at this lodge for 8 nights. It was on a work assignment, but it was a pleasure coming home in the evenings. Breakfast was nicer then the average fare in many chains. The hotel staff was very nice. There was one of the staff named Angelica that was exceptionally helpful and professional in her dealings. The room was cozy and well equipped. The toiletries were nice. The housekeeping staff did an exceptional job always having my room fresh and nice. There were some repairs that needed tending too, but I think they will be taken care of as the staff all seemed very consciencious. I would definately stay again and recommend this to friends. more

Great time at a great price 3/10/2011

Beautiful Wedding Stayed there for a wedding that i was a bridesmaid for. I came up a month before to check out the grounds and the staff was really helpful. It was an unplanned stop so the wedding coordinator wasn't there but they were really great to have someone fill in to show me around and answer all my questions. Very green and quiet landscape. The rooms were really nice and even had a fireplace. Also the best of bathroom goodies i've ever seen(shampoo, conditioner, lip balm, shoe shine etc..).Since so much of the family stayed at the lodge are rooms were discounted. All in all it was a great time at a great place. Maybe one day i will be there for another wedding but this time not as a bridesmaid ..... ;) more

Very nice, quiet room 3/4/2011

Very nice, quiet room. Beautiful grounds, great breakfast (complimentary). The hotel is old and you can "tell", eventhough it's newly decorated. That's not a bad thing however. I like old. My room was across the parking lot from the high school football field and track which was neat. The team was practicing and it was fun to hear and watch. I also got to hear the high school PA announcements in the morning. I loved it!! more

Like the low cost room charge 2/25/2011

I liked the Los Gatos Lodge for the low cost room charge. I work around the Los Gatos area and to find a cheap hotel is hard to find in this area. But Los Gatos Lodge has cheap rooms, they accept pets, the Gym was great, the out door patio was nice as well. I will come back to the Los Gatos Lodge and I recommend it. more

Great Hotel, smart 2/22/2011

Los Gatos Lodge was an excellent hotel to stay in. The staff was friendly and very helpfull. I had somewhat of trouble trying to log into the wifi and as I recall, "Jose" a Front Desk Agent, was very helpfull and I felt stepped out the box to help me out with my computer issues. Over all, the hotel was excellent for the price, the location was perfect for distance to my work, the breakfast was not a hot breakfast as I would preffer but enough to keep me going on my bussy visit to the Los Gatos area. Enjoyed my stayed very much and I will come back. more

I will come back to the Los Gatos Lodge and I recommend it 2/14/2011

quiet atmosphere. 2/2/2011

I just recently stayed here and it was a great night sleep. The best thing about the hotel is the garden grounds, which provide for nice views and a quiet atmosphere. There is a bar on the premises which offers free appetizers during its happy hour with good drink specials. I personally like this place because it is not overly priced with rates under $100. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Other amenities that I enjoyed were the Free Parking, Free Continental Breakfast, Free Wifi and most importantly, its close proximity to downtown Los Gatos. more

I recommend this hotel 1/20/2011

I recommend this hotel for its older charm and spaciousness. Easy to look past the upgrades one might recommend and it was comfortable and clean with access to the area and freeways. more

Fair Rate For A Nice Hotel 1/13/2011

My stay at the los gatos lodge was a big surprice!!!! For the room rate i was quoted I was expecting to stay in a "motel" with no amenities what so ever "WOW" ..the Los Gatos Lodge offers a complimentary breakfast, free wifi, FREE parking?? I have stayed in other hotels in the bay area and I always have to spend atleast $20 per night on parking only.. Bottom line is I had a really nice stay, I will come back to the Lodge and i recomend the Lodge for extended stays prefferably! more

Very flexible and easy to work with 1/10/2011

We had two big Karaoke parties for work here this past summer. The first time we bought about 70 people to their spacious bar and had the whole place to ourselves for the afternoon. The LG Lodge has a regular karaoke DJ, so we asked him to come early and DJ for us. He wasn't the best DJ ever, but we had a good time. We ordered a spread of fried foods and the bar set up drink tickets for us, both of which helped to get people loosened up and happy. Later in the summer we rented out the Lodge's huge outdoor swimming pool and catered an evening Karaoke event for about 300 people. They set up a lot of umbrellas and outdoor heaters, which made the whole outside space very comfortable. We had more food and beverages this time around, and also upgraded to a better DJ. This place is very flexible and easy to work with for large and small events, definitely recommended. more

Great Place 1/5/2011

We rate the Los Gatos Lodge in Los Gatos, CA as one of the best! My adult daughter and I stayed there for 8 nights in Dec for medical purposes and wanted to be near the Samaritan Hospital. We got an excellent rate for a 2 room suite that had a bedroom with 2 double beds and a living room with an L-shaped comfortable couch, cozy gas fireplace and micro and fridge. Housekeeping services kept the rooms immaculate every day. The front office staff were quite caring, helpful and friendly. We used the free internet in the reception area every day. They have a wonderful buffet breakfast with hot oatmeal and boiled eggs plus lots of other items. The property is on 10 acres and the grounds are attractive and well kept. We recommend this lodge to anyone seeking something a little different from the ordinary hotel. W and J Reeder, Medford OR more

Beautiful Grounds 1/4/2011

This is a lovely hotel with amazing grounds, rooms with patio sets outside the sliding glass doors and the weekend we stayed non stop weddings, receptions and fun happy guests. Our room was 607 nice, clean and plenty of space. They provide nicely scented shampoo, conditioner and soap, ceramic coffee mugs for coffee in your room using your mini coffee maker, glass drinking glasses and a mini fridge was also in our room. The pool area though small has one umbrella covered table and several lounge chairs. The beautiful grounds have trees, flowers, benches and black squirrels. The hotel grounds are dog friendly, the lobby has a computer and printer for guest use, the wedding ceremony area is intimate and secluded. We enjoyed our two day stay here very much and will return if the opportunity comes again. more
