I travel continuously around the country and eat out at restuarants everyday of the week. I dined at the Broken Arrow, OK restuarant tonight and had a great expectation of eating Mexican food that would be par for a restuarant that had all the ambiance and glamour of a great Mexican restuarant. I was extremely disappointed. The service I felt was very good. The waiter did a good job taking care of me with the exception that the order came back with refried beans instead of black beans as I had requested. I had ordered a steak and eggs, enchilada combination platter. My waiter came by and asked me how I liked my meal. I honestly told him that the steak I recieved was a breakfast steak full of grissle (I left half of it in a napkin), the steak had some fajita seasoning on it to make it have "any" flavor, the salsa was of a package processed type variety and it didn't really have any flavor, I paid extra for a chile con queso and it was not very good either. I felt that the quality overall was below my expectations, and that on my worst day I could cook up something like this.
Honestly, it was the worst Mexican meal I have ever eaten. It cost me $35.00 for me to have this experience and I would not even turn my head to go back to Los Cabos again. Anywhere else of eating Mexican food of this quality would have cost me around $8-10.00. That's from experiencing twenty five years of dining out. There is nothing special about dining at Los Cabos Mexican Restuarant. Keep your expectation low.
