Los Arcos is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant in Salem. It has great service and consistently great food. It is a very family friendly environment and nice atmosphere!

Great Mexican Food 7/21/2005

Los Arcos has now become one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. The atmosphere is relaxing and the decor is really neat. When the restaurant first began the food was wonderful but the atmosphere was uninteresting. It was kind of boring. Since it moved locations it has always been packed. Every night it is a fight to get in. It used to be that you could walk right in and be seated. Now you have to wait a little bit. It is well worth it though. Any item menu is prepared when ordered and the Carne Asada is to die for. My favorite meal is the Sopa de Pollo. It is noodles with chicken in a tomato based sauce. YUM!! The kids menu offer a variety of food. Both Mexican and American. Great family place. more

Great local Mexican food 6/28/2005

My parents started getting us discounted ebay Los Arcos Gift Certificates for all holidays. We started using them and were hooked right away. They have the best food. I enjoy the Manadaro Burrito with chicken. It is a HUGE burrito filled with chicken, sauce, cheese, beans and rice then topped with more sauce, cheese, olives, sour cream and guacamole. OH MAN for the 8.95 we pay for this buritto it is well worth it. I gave this restaurant 4 starts instead of 5 because I do feel their wait staff could be a bit more friendly. The restaurant is very popular and is quite busy so that probably is the cause of their attitude sometimes but, I feel they could work on it a bit. more
