12/10 Consome loco at this restaurant is our go to light lunch in Las Vegas. 09/10 Another great bowl of consomme loco. 12/09 This tiny storefront restaurant has received a measure of notoriety since an article appeared in the Las Vegas Weekly identifying it as celebrity Chef Alex Stratta’s favorite restaurant for authentic Mexico City cuisine. Alex was dining elsewhere this day, but the restaurant was fairly busy. Orders are placed at the counter and then while waiting for the food you can munch on not so authentic taco chips served with two homemade salsas, tomatillo and chipotle. We each ordered a bowl of consommé loco, a rich chicken broth with shredded chicken, avocado and fresh cilantro that were accompanied by a pair of fresh corn tortillas – muy bueno! more

Really fresh cooked home made real authentic mexican food. Better know a little spanish though, menu in spanish and not many people around who speak it. This is the real deal mexican. Very good food, small place, seating is tight, friendly, don't be intimidated, the food is worth the trouble. Pros: great food Cons: Better learn a little spanish before going more
