Dr. Paul M. Choi is a top-rated doctor. He spends a great deal of time and care to see that his patients are well taken care of. Even at short notice, it is super easy to set up an appointment, and the staff there is really friendly. I was amazed at how clean and comfortable the office was, not that I spent much time in the lobby, as they had me in and to the back in no time. more

I was not feeling well and felt something was wrong with my stomach. I had gone to another GI doctor and we were going to do a upper endoscopy. However I was very intolerant of the the procedure and could not take it, even though he tried several times, with the smallest scope. They wanted to knock me out with propofol, and I am always leery of something so drastic, especially with the news that Michael Jackson had passed away on this. So I decided not to do the endoscopy. But I wanted to try it out another time because I felt something was wrong with me. I thought that I was not going to be able to do it, and woud have to go into the hospital to get the procedure done under general anesthesia (which would have costed a lot more money). I went to Dr Choi because of the great reviews about him, and I am VERY glad that I did as the reviews were right about him. He gave me minimal sedation, he EXPERTLY did the procedure within 5-10 minutes. I was diagnosed with an H pylori ulcer and was given treatment for it. It was well worth the cost (which is normal cost) and the drive to go out to LA. Dr Choi is very experienced at what he does, understands what will work and what will not. I thought that I was not going to be able to do it and I almost wanted to give up , but I am VERY glad that I got it done and over with. The nursing staff was very friendly, supportive and helped put me at ease also. I would definitely trust him with my endoscopy in the future!! more

I never write reviews but I had a procedure done here last week and am compelled to add my two cents. The entire staff at the Endoscopy Center epitomizes everything that is right with health care. They are caring, professional and so kind. If anyone is at all hesitant about these types of procedures, don't be! Lovely facility, lovely peoples. more

I had my third colonoscopy at the Los Angeles Endoscopy Center and it was simply the best. The place is staffed by truly kind and warm personnel who are friently and caring. The place ran like a clock-work without any delay. I woke up feeling great without any discomfort. Dr. Choi explained the result in full, before I was ready to leave. The staff even gave me a copy of colonsocopy report for my primary doctor, as I was ready to leave. This is absolutely the best place to have the procedure if you want quality care at an affordable price. I am going to recommend this place to all my friends and relatives. more

Dr. Choi is the absolute best doctor I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. He thorough and detailed. Yet he is kind and warm. He is the third stomach doctor I had and he basically saved my life my detecting my cancer that others was not able to diagnose. I am so grateful.
