This is my favorite tex-mex place in south Jersey. The food is imaginative, fresh, and excellent. The freshly made salsa is delicious, and the fish tacos are first rate. The ambience is inviting, and even romantic when it isn't too busy...which isn't often. I have been going here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. It is a little on the pricey side, but not unreasonable. Nice 'date' restaurant. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must-try. FYI, make reservations if you are going on the weekend or you will be waiting a while for a table. Pros: Great food, great ambience Cons: crowded on weekends, pricey more

Favorite Tex-Mex restaurant 11/18/2006

Great appetizers like Sante Fe spring rolls, excellent entrees like Southwest crab cakes and Fish Tacos and the margaritas are fantastic. Service makes you feel like family and it is a great place to celebrate with friends and family. Pros: Fresh and well-prepared food, great margaritas more

Los Amigo's is time tested ! 9/7/2005

I love this place ! I have been going to Los Amio's for over 23 years. I have family members who own a Mexican resurant and, when they come down to visit, they like to go there also. Like all establised restaurants, they continue to change there menu. You can have your basic items or go for the specials that have a Bobby Flay ring to them only in a Los Amigo's way. WOW!! Salsa to die for... 5/10/2005

The salsa is the best I've ever had in my life. We even take advatage of their to go option for salsa. The staff is wonderful and remember you by name after only a few visits. We moved over 20 miles away now but still go back to enjoy Los Amigos. Pros: Service, Wait time, Clean Cons: a little dark more

The food is great, and the atmosphere is very authentic to ""real"" mexican resturants, I mean the one's in Mexico. A little pricey, but it's still a great place. Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Staff Cons: Small, Limited Menu, $$$ more

Great Mexican in a great place 8/13/2002

Los Amigos is my favorite local mexican retaurant. The food is excellent and the ambience is very nice. Smaller and less gaudy than it's competition I think that it is a wonderful place to have a fiesta for two. Pros: Great food, Wonderful ambience more
