There are pedestrian gates, but no walkways at the front and back of the property. The place was generally pretty quiet until a group of college students moved in above me for the 08-09 school year. They do need to treat for insects better outside and inside the apartments. The place is decent looking, had nice appliances, and is in a good location, but overall wasn't worth the money.
The rents are high, and they raised them every year on me. They wanted 200+ more a month to go month to month after my lease ended. They were asking me to sign a lease for a price higher than the highest prices on their website at the time, which i felt was a slap in the face to an existing and potential repeat customer. The office staff seemed to be replaced at least once a year. Of course, the pricing policies probably come down from their central management office anyway. Keep in mind that this is all during the crash of housing prices throughout Florida. There are plenty of other properties around, I suggest you avoid anything owned by UDR.
