In my line of business, I frequent many Catering Halls, Ballrooms, etc... Lorraine's Place is not very elegant at all. To top-it-off, she is extremely rude. At the entrance, without introducing herself, she looks you over from head to toe and then greets you with an array of ill mannered questions such as ""who are you?"" and ""what did you bring in here?"". She then belts-out, ""Well, I'm Lorraine"". I guess that's when you suppose to assume the position to be frisked by her. As a guest, I was APPALLED! more

BITTER SWEET 7/24/2009

I NEVER GOT A WARM FEELING FROM MS. LORRAINE NOR HER SISTER WHO HELPS OUT ALL THE TIME. I DID A PARTY THERE AND SHE HAD HER SISTER ""WATCH"" MY EVENT. NOT TO MENTION THEY CHARGED MY GUESS FOR CHECKING IN THEIR COATS. I WAS HUMILIATED. THEY THEN ASKED FOR FOOD AND CAKE. WHICH I FELT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL OF THEM, THE CONTRACT STATES THAT EVERYONE SHOULD BE DRESSED, BUT LORRAINE AND HER FAMILY WERE THE WORST ONES DRESSED. THEY ARE EXTREMEMLY RUDE. AND I PAID MORE THAN OTHER PEOPLE. SHE CHANGES HER PRICES ACCORDING TO HOW U LOOK. SHE SAID SHE'S CAREFUL WHEN RENTING TO SPANISH PEOPLE BECAUSE WE LIKE WHISKEY. SO RUDE. Nice Sized Place 7/16/2008

Lorraines Place is a good size. it has a dance floor, room for 20 tables and a Dj. but i would not recommend it to you. First of the owner Ms. Lorraine is very disrespectful and she has a bad attitude. when ur a business owner you are suppose to conduct ur self in a special mannor b/c (1) you never know who is watchin, (2) anyone can be your potential customer , and (3) anyway u look at it, weather u like someone or not ur getting that persons money.
