WOW! Talk about the worst owner and boss on the face of this planet!! Where do i start??? I have never in my professional career ever seen an owner of a business treat here employees like as bad as this woman does! She breaks the law im sure more times then she throws down her favorite shot....and believe me she does both alot! I was in the other day having an amazing conversation with the bartender Candy, what a doll this gal is!! Truly the best thing this bar has going for it, if not the only thing... I witnessed the most disgusting event performed by a boss ever! She was yelling at the bartender so bad literally every bar patron got up,closed their tabs and walked out. She had belittled her so bad she was crying. And it was all over something she didnt do! How embarrassing!! Would only recommend this place if you have the pleasure of being served by Candy and the owner Loree is out of the country! more

If it weren't for the nice people behind the bar and behind the microphone, I wouldn't frequent this bar. The owner doesn't seem to give a damn about the customers or staff. The rickety chairs don't roll right on the floor, there's just 1 ""by artist"" song book, there are security cameras and microphones aimed at the staff and the paper towel dispenser in the women's bathroom is missing the little piece that prevents the lever from slicing your finger down the middle. Lame! With a little bit of money, this could be a GREAT bar. Pros: Karaoke 7 nights a week! Cons: owner doesn't care about her customers or employees more

I had so much fun singing and dancing in there.A good Sound system with a KJ that really does a great job optimizing peoples' voices to sound great.People from all walks of life come in there.A wonderful mixture of people hang in there.Also,Really good tacos there. Pros: singing and dancing,karaoke 7 days a week more

The place is unique to the Nth. It's got character everywhere. It's not quite a dive bar but if it were it's one of the best I've been to. I went on Sunday night and it was slow. I believe the bartender's name was Rachel and she couldn't have been more awesome. Since it was slow she had time to go the extra mile to make sure our night was fun. The KJ was sick that night so one of their regulars (a member of Toxic Reign, a local band) had to coax her to get it started as there were only 3 for sure singers and she'd normally start with 5. We ended up with a great mix of 6-8 singers. We were there right before 9PM and didn't leave until after 1AM. The night is always better when you bring a desire to really have fun and don't expect the venue to do everything for you. Big thanks to Rachel the bartender, the KJ (can't remember her name), and Mathew of Toxic Reign whose voice blew me away. I made sure to tip them all. Mathew really helped make the night with his enthusiasm and some colorful alternate lyrics. (Wish we were able to find his band on MySpace.) He even asked me to sing I Want To Be Sedated by The Ramones with him. I was terribly honored as I'm no singer although occasionally I can carry a tune! Pros: There was plenty to do and I was highly amused by the choice of barware and coasters. Cons: Parking was sketchy, wasn't sure if it was a private lot or if it was safe. more

We waited for more than 2.5 hours and never got called up once. Several of the KJ's friends were called up 4 and 5 times. We checked twice - to see where we were in the rotation, they'd tell us we were ""comin' up"". Well, in 2,5 hours, we never ""came up"". I do not recommend Lorees to anyone. There are better places out there. Don't waste your time at this place. more

This is the lamest place that I have ever been to. I went there once after a night of drinking just to hang out. I bought two drinks costing $15 with tip. Later the s.o.b.'s charged my account $25!!! Obviously they took advantage of someone who was having too good of a time and didn't give a receipt. The place is a rip-off. The singing is bunk, the bar is a scam and there weren't any good looking people at all!!! In fact, the whole place was ugly excluding myself of course. If you're looking to have a bunk time and sing some lame songs on a bootsie karaoke machine that looked like it cost $20 up at Denio's and having a swell old time dancing with a bunch of fuglys and getting ripped off at the bar, then this is the place for you. if you have no friends, then this is the place for you. If you are ugly, then this is the place for you. This place isn't worth the Charmin I wipe my cheeks with. Not only was this place a dump but, it smelled like a dump. It smelled like someone had just dropped the kids off at the pool and they were stanky old teenagers. This is no joke by the way. I really did go here and I really did get ripped off.To prove I've been there. When you walk in the door the bar is to the left. The booths and the karaoke is to the right and the nasty bathrooms and the two sorry pool tables are in the back. Also to the left after you walk in is the patio area. If you too have been there then you know that I am telling the truth. This place is a rip-off and a dump. Please, people of the greater Sacramento area, save your time and money and drive to downtown and go to a nice bar to have a good time. Don't waste your time hanging with lowlifes at Loree's little dump on Greenback. My only wish is that they use the $10 they stole from me to buy an air freshner so that the whole place doesn't smell like 100 year old wolf coochie!!!!! Pros: zero Cons: too many to list more
