PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONSIDERING RENTING FROM THESE PEOPLE!
I wish it were a norm or better yet, a requirement, for people to read reviews of places before they decide to rent/sign a lease with them. It would save people a lot of pain and frustration especially from a place like Lord Baron.
This was by far the worst living experience in my entire life! The only thing this place has going for it is sufficient parking, and cheap rent. THAT'S IT!. The cheap rent definitely reflects on the quality and safety of the premises as well as the level and ""quality"" of service from the management staff. ""You get what you pay for"" is the understatement of the year.
The management staff are some of the rudest, meanest, and unprofessional people I've ever had to do business with in a professional environment. Especially the property manager Kevin. I don't see how anyone can thing this guy is ""friendly"", ""nice"", ""professional"" or ""respectful. He's the polar opposite, nothing but a bully who pushes tenants around. The guy is extremely unprofessional and immature, it's a mystery how this guy is in charge of anything. Regardless of how calmly and respectfully you try to take care of business, management just gets all defensive and picks a fight with you, it's so juvenile! Aside from simple maintenance requests it's a battle to get anything done, almost everything was a struggle with property management. They have no respect or care for you whatsoever.
The buildings are very bland and smell awful. People's kids frequently run around the halls at night. Everyone on the premises stares you down like you're not welcome even if you live there. The doors to the buildings are always left open for anyone to just waltz in. The workers management hires to do work on the buildings/premises are really creepy and hardly speak English. Police cruisers are occasionally on site, parked and with their blues on. I was a victim of theft during my time there. Any request for management to help with safety and security and I was scolded and shot down.
So, to sum it all up: if you want to rent a place you can come home to comfortably, a place to call home, a place where you don't have to be pushed around and bullied by a juvenile property manager, a place without fear for safety or crime, a place where there's peace and quiet, a place where you don't pass out from the awful smell of the building, I highly suggest you seek another place to rent.
