I have frequently found the staff at the circulation desk unnecessarily rude and abrupt. They generally do not seem to have much pride in doing their jobs and are quick to show their dislike at having to break out of their routine in order to help you. Their first response when issues arise is to place blame on the patron rather than to use reason and rational thinking to resolve the problem. That attitude is consistent with the invisibility of their policies, if they even have any. Be sure to never use the quick return slot, because you are 100% to blame if they somehow do not receive the item (and do not bother looking for a policy that addresses that issue), and always ask for receipts of any and all transactions.\r
