We have lived in the area for 10 years and often visit Longhorn. In the past the food has been great but the restaurant was outdated. They have recently remodeled and we loved i...

Worst

I cannot fathom how anyone that has ever eaten true Texas Bar B Q could ever enjoy the food at the Longhorn. I have been looking for a good place to eat Bar B Q since my arrival h...

Horrible No Good Very Bad Service 10/21/2010

This is not a good family restaurant. The place is empty monday-thursday for a reason. The "free ribs" for happy hour are indeed ribs. All bone, covered in bbq sauce. The night manager at the Auburn restaurant is arrogant and rude. more

cold cold cold 11/30/2008

We have tried this place twice now...both times the food has been luke warm to cold. The flavor was good, and the service was great, but I believe your meat and beans, and bread should be hot, not set under a lamp for however long. more

Very Disapointed 9/23/2006

First I want to say the the service was excellent. The staff was very attentive and cheerful but the food was the worst. The potato salad had no taste and the potatoes were not fully cooked. We were sure this was pre-made commercial stuff. The beef brisket was crumbly. Yes crumbly. It tasted as if it had been cooked too long and cut too thin. The pulled pork was mostly fat. The sausage was good but nothing special and the cornbread was just plain flat tasting. We did enjoy the beans. My wife is from the south and she knows good BBQ. She commented that this was the worst BBQ sha had ever had. Maybe we just ate there on a bad night but we wont be trying it again. more

Want some BBQ? Better hope it's Sunday 8/19/2005

Longhorn Barbecue serves up all the tasty Texas-style barbecue you'd expect, but if you want something that exceeds your expectations come on Sunday. The buffet runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and for $12.95 (including drink) you can stuff yourself silly with BBQ chicken, ribs and beef, as well as salad, beans and all the fixins. And dessert, if you've got the room. It's just $6.95 for kids from 6-12 and 5 and under eat free, which makes it an even better deal. The rest of the week is fine, but once you've sampled this gut-busting bargain, the regular menu pales in comparison. more
