Excellent FOOD!!! 11/8/2011

Best Place In Town For UFC & Grub! 11/7/2011

Do you like steak? Do you like pizza? Then Longbranch is the place for you. Everything I've had on the menu is awesome, and there's also all the free peanuts you can shovel in your face. The service is always good, and it's my favorite place in town to watch UFC! more

This is my favorite place to get a steak. The ribeye is great, and the monster twice baked potato is ridiculously addictive. The pizza is surprisingly good with a zesty sauce that is one of the best I've had. more

Dan's Longbranch Steakhouse great food great service 8/23/2009

Of course eating the peanuts is fun and my kids love the cheeseburgers and bottled root beer. I've never had a bad meal. The service is friendly. I like that it feels more personal. We do a lot of gatherings with friends in the back room. Dan and Mary are great! more

Longbranch 5/30/2006

I have been going to the Longbranch for a long time and it is just as good as it was back then. I have never had a bad experience while I've dined there and I always leave there stuffed. I get their house rib eye which comes with a salad and side item. I can't pass up their loaded baked potatoe. With there salad, I think they have best ranch salad dressing. The place can get pretty crowed, especially on a Friday and Saturday night during dinner time. But, you can go the bar to have a drink and wait for them to call your name. The wait staff are nice and it isn't too expensive. more

  • In 1980, Walt Coffey, wanted to open a casual fun place to get a great steak with a monster baked potato and ice cold beer for a fair price, so the Longbranch Saloon was born at 91st and Metcalf. Well Walt has been gone for a while, but after 33 years, we continue to be the best local hangout for all ages. We offer a made-from-scratch dining experience that you can t find at most other places. We hand-bread all of our fried menu items, hand-cut our steaks and our sauces are made from scratch as well. It takes more time and work but we feel its well worth the effort. Our main restaurant has a casual old west feel and The Branch side has a motorcycle bar feel with a pool table and a variety of games for all. In the summer months, we offer Friday night car and motorcycle shows. We have the best patios in Overland Park for outside dining. We can also accommodate private parties in our Fireside Room.
