My boyfriend and I recently visited Longhorns in Dalton and it was the worst experience ever. When we walked in there was nobody at the front to take us to a table so we asked the bartender if we should seat ourselves? She rolled her eyes at us and said to wait while she went to go find them. I swear she must have been no more than 12 years old with that annoyingly high-pitched squeaky voice. It wasn't even busy but after five minutes someone came and finally took us to our table. After we ordered our meals, some fat, sloppy looking bearded cook from the back stormed past us and was cussing under his breath and kicked the men's room door wide open. When our waiter came back with our drinks we told him and he laughed and said that he does it all the time and the managers want to get rid of him. I'm not sure where the professionalism is and representing where they work, but it must have left before we entered the building. But it didn't stop there. I ordered the sanoma salad and my boyfriend had a filet. It was overcooked and chewy and in my experience, those meats are supposed to be very tender. We asked to speak to the manager but he never came out to see us until right before we walked out the door. I will never go to that restaurant again and have told all of my friends and family about our experience. My best friend went there once and said the bathroom was messy and had a septic smell and the doors were missing locks. Never again.
Pros: Are you serious?
Cons: Bad service. Bad food. Bad work ethics. Nasty bathroom.
