LongHorn has some of the best steak I've ever had. Not only are their meat selections tender and deliciously seasoned, they always cook it exactly how you ask and offer some amazing sides. They never fail to please, they're my favorite streak house. more

Friends who live nearby insist that there are far better steakhouses, even Outback, but my godchildren don't consider a visit to Fort Lauderdale complete without a night at Longhorn. We usually end up at the one on University and Nova Drive in Davie and have yet to be disappointed. Our steaks are always cooked exactly to order and well-prepared, and no fault can be found with the mashed, baked, fried or baked sweet potato on the side, or any of the vegetables that can be added. We usually order rib-eyes with a side of asparagus, in fact, we always do, so I can't really speak for the rest of the menu. It's standard steakhouse fare - steaks, chicken, a pork chop, seafood, meat and seafood combos, and is neither the cheapest nor most expensive. From the 7 year old to the ...well...me, we give it a two thumbs up. Desserts are obscene and should be ordered one per 4-6 people, if at all. more

I love steak so this is one of my favorite places to eat in Davie ;) Pros: Great meat and potatos place Cons: little bit of a wait more

Go elsewhere 11/12/2006

Went on a Sat. night. Wait was 25 min., which was expected on a Sat. Food took over an hour and was overcooked. We ordered prime rib and we were told after our salads were eaten that they were out of prime rib. The reastaurant was extremely cold. We asked to have the AC turned down, never happened. We saw several people bringing coats and jackets in. We talked with two other people as we were leaving that said they have never been so miserable. The booth we sat in was dirty. The pictures hanging in it were covered in dust. It makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. Pros: Texas theme Cons: Food, cleaniness, and comfort more
