My dog was getting older and starting to have problems. Long Beach Animal Hospital is open late and on weekends and had a good recommendation from a friend, so we decided to take him there after work rather than taking the day off. They were really nice and thorough about testing him and were able to treat the problem that we took him in for. Unfortunately, he developed other problems, so we took him there again. Once again they were great about finding out what was wrong with him and they gave us the bad news that he had cancer with care and sensitivity. When it came time to put him down, they handled it very professionally and couldn't have been nicer about it. They even took back some of his unused medicine and applied the credit to his euthanasia. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is that sometimes they are sometimes late in meeting their appointments. They will get you in, but the wait is sometimes really long, like forty minutes. Even there, they have a big urn of decent coffee on and they have treats you can give your dog while you wait. If I'm still in the LBC when I get another dog, I'll use them for sure.
