Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon

I took my parents to eat there. My mother is handicap, they tried to seat us way in the back. not very accessible. The music was WAY too load, I love country, but, we couldn't even talk. Asked to have it turned down. they did. 5 minutes later it was back and louder than before. Ran out of drinks. food got cold waiting to get service. Hate to see what it would have been like if it was busy. I have eaten there before. It was good then. Its taken a bad turn since. We weren't the only ones that were complaining about the music and were short for service....save your money more

Call me the ""food conoseur of Lawton"", if you will. The food is okay. It depends. Sometimes I have ordered a salad and the lettuce was all wilted and they forgot some of the toppings (cheese, onions, tomatoes) -kind of ridiculous. The worst thing about this restaurant is the staff. Those people are the rudest. They tried to get over on you when it comes to the ""kids dine for free"" issue...they say you have to order certain foods on their menu - after the fact. Their rolls are good - as long as they aren't overbaked. The butter for the rolls would taste better without the damn cinammon they add to it. It's honey people that makes it taste better - that is why it is called ""honeybutter"" not ""cinammon butter"". There food is not consistent - maybe they keep loosing cooks or something. I have known 3 individuals that have worked there; and consequently quit because they said that the waitresses were just plain flat out rude.
