Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon

My husband and I were in N J to visit family. We wanted real ""food"", they wanted cheap. We decided to go to the Lone Star . What a wonderful time we had. The service was spectacular and the food was just what we ordered and it was swift. We had just enough time between our app and the entree... The next day was sunday and we took my niece and her daughter with us again and the manager was soooo handsome , but that has nothing to do with the food or the service, wich was outstanding again. Girls... you have to go check out this guys eyes. Oh my Goodness.... what a hunk!!! And dinner wasn't bad either, h ha ha ha ! We ordered the ribs and he made up this special sauce for us and re grilled the ribs with it . SOOO go. I wish I could remember his name but it escapes me. Have the prime rib and loaded potatoe and the ice cream brownie thing. Pros: great free peanuts, they will give u some to take home Cons: after u eat all your peanuts , they are all gone !!! more

Totally surprised! My hubby and I went there on a Friday night. It was not crowded at all, which sort of made me skeptical, but we grabbed a table anyhow. What a surprise ! The service was great, I had the fried shrimp, they were okay. But my husband had the RIBS! They were totally awesome! Huge portions, lots of meat on the bones, and butter tender. The sauce was also good - but they could have used a little more. Next time I go, I will get the ribs, and a whole slab this time, not a half..... All u Can Eat Ribs every Monday night (NFL Football) and drink specials. Not a place for a romantic date, but certainly a cool place to hang out for a quick bite.
