I have given this place several years to improve! They need to discover a scrub brush and soap. It is very dated and unkept. The rest rooms are dirty, need of new stalls, fixtures, and toilets that flush!\r To have been a nice facility in the past, it has fallen into the abyss.\r I hope the kitchen is cleaner, the food is good. more

Great place for group luncheons 2/10/2009

We just finished a group luncheon at the Anchorage Lone Star Restaurant with a group of 17 people. What a treat! The wait staff was excellent, very organized, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Our food arrived in a timely manner, served exactly as everyone ordered including a couple of special requests, hot and delicious. Having been to a number of large group luncheons, I have to say the staff at the Anchorage Lone Star is the best I have seen. Pros: Great service and excellent food cooked to order more
