We moved into our new home almost two years ago. Bill gave us a great estimate quality product and installation! Our floors are two years old and they still look brand new! We had on of the transition piece come up and Bill ordered us a replacement and had his guys over to replace it with out a hassle. It is not just the quote and installation but Lone star floors is there to back up their product years later! more

Fantastic Experience from first phone call to final piece of wood being installed. Found Lone Star Floors on the web as a vendor who could get their hands on the flooring we wanted from Southern Traditions. Bill was very helpful from the beginning, and answered all my questions with no fluff or attempts to upsell in any way. I did my due diligence in comparing prices from other companies in town, and Bill was able to beat the price of all others by $2k. When it came to installation the crew was fantastic. Work area was kept clean, and all the guys were professional, and showed their diligence and work ethic to deliver quality workmanship. In the end my $6k investment added no less than $15k in value, and we could not be happier. more

Best $17 grand I ever spent! 4/17/2011

A water leak destroyed 1200 square feet of our floor downstairs and we had to get new floors. The thought of construction, insurance companies, picking the right materials and the right people for the job was unexpected and overwhelming. Bill McGavern was wonderful to work with as was his crew!!!! I spent 4 months debating tile and floor and he couldn't be more wonderful and patient. I'm not an easy client. The workers were great and we enjoyed seeing them everyday. They made a difficult situation very easy and the work is STUNNING! Worth every penny. We are thrilled! Thank you Lone Star Floors! more

Great work, knowledgable 3/3/2010

Most contractors we have dealt with in the past have over promised and under delivered. Bill with Lone Star was the complete opposite. Everything he told us was dead on, and there were even a couple small items we had forgotten, and he took care of them without question. We highly recommend anyone looking for flooring or remodel for that matter, give them a call. Pros: knowledgable, reasonable prices, overdelivered 110% more

Straight Talker. Great Value 2/22/2010

We had looked at several floor places. We just kept getting a run around. At Lone Star, we were quickly told what the bottom line was going to be, and then it turned out to be what we were told. We were so pleased with the job they did on our rental property, we got Bill to do our home as well. It's better when you can deal directly with an owner. Pros: Price, service, honesty Cons: Only one location more
