Why did I bother to take my horse trailer to Lone Peak Trailers this morning at 8:00 AM?\r
\r
I'm very disappointed in Lone Peak's service. After waiting a couple of weeks for an ""appointment"", I worked my plans around the appointment day and dropped my horse trailer off at 8:00 in the morning. At the end of the day I called to get a status and found that zero work had been done on my trailer because of another trailer that was dropped off a couple of days before that they were now having problems with. \r
\r
Seriously? No one could bother to call and tell me this BEFORE I dropped of my trailer? What a waste of an entire day. This is Thursday and I have a competition Saturday. To make matters worse, they can't even guarantee that my trailer will be worked on on Friday, much less when it will be finished. It's not like my job a big deal. Replacing a few hinges, replacing a few lights, and putting a rubber mat in a tack room.\r
\r
This really screwed up our plans. Since I have no idea when it will be done, I have to be ready to pick it up at any time so the my tow vehicle can't be taken in for service before the weekend trip to our competition. \r
\r
All this could be avoided with a single phone call before I brought the trailer in letting me know that they are a day, two days, or who knows how long behind.\r
\r
Unbelievably poor communication.
