Coming from a family that was practically raised off seafood, when i first went to lombard's i was amazed at what a vast selection of fish they have. Along with various lobster, crab, and squid/eel/smelts,etc... there was probably about 20 different types of fish, that we all very, very fresh! where else is there that kind of selection? What i enjoyed more so, was the kindness of the men working behind the counter. they all seemed very knowledgeable, and we extremely nice and easy to work with. there's even a pair of twin brothers that work there, even on the same day sometimes! I'm glad to say i now have a new favorite fish market,and I visit weekly! Anyone that cares about getting the freshest seafood available, look no further. Thank you. more

Being from the Boston area and missing the taste of New England seafood we found Lombardis seafood on line.After a brief phone call we were informed that they did indeed have New england lobsters and also clams. We did not hesatate to place an order to be picked up on Valentines day 2009. What a great dinner this turned out to be.You and your staff are doing a great service to the people of Winter Park and the other areas. Thanks again for your great seafood. If the "witch" has kind of darkish brown hair, I know exactly who you mean and it is amazing that management has tolerated her insolence to customers for so long. Seafood is fresh and outstanding. There was one time where the lady at the register had no idea how long it took to steam clams cuz "She doesn't eat them". It was ok tough. I like the place very much. more

I must agree with the previous review that I have had good service and in general good seafood at Lombardi's Seafood. However, when one is critical of another's grammar they should at least have a basic knowledge on what they are commenting about first. "Fish Monger' is not a derogatory name. In fact, it simply means one who sells fish and is comparable to "butcher". Google it to see the all the great names associated with Fish Monger. more

Whats truly unfortunate is the grammer that people use when writing responses. First of all I didn't know it was an automatic response that when a nasty horrible witch answered the phone she took your money. Perhaps if she were a kind and gentle witch she wouldn't have reached through the phone and snatched your money. I suppose the AT&T ads were right, you can reach out and touch someone. So you wonder if they really had the fish they advertised. I bet the add said "while supplies last" next time adjust the bifocals when reading ads. I guess what really upsets me is that I google Lombardis seafood for the phone number and I see a review that refers to the "fish mongers". Who or what graced you with the right to call hard working people such hateful names. I really feel sorry for you. You are so ignorant. The only thing that could make it worse if you were one of those people who show up to church every Sunday to profess to the world what a good Christian you are. I want to call you just so I can jump on the bandwagon and hang up on you. I have been doing business with them for about five years now and have yet experienced anything like what the previous review said. I know this business is family owned and ran by 3 generations of Lombardis. They must be doing something right, every time I go in there they are busy. As for the nasty previous review, I also will thank God on Sunday that a Whole Foods store will be opening. The sooner it opens the less chance I will have of running into you! Lombardis is the place that I have been looking for...after living all around the state I have found my Seafood Market. No more supermarket fish for me. This place has everything you can imagine. I love all of the homemade stuff they have prepared (crabcakes,stuffed mushrooms) along with the fresh selection of Fresh fish.(salmon,grouper,etc.) I must have been lucky unlike the last review, cause my first time there the people were very helpful and polite. The prices are average compared to other places (whole foods) it makes it worth driving too. I am in there at least twice a week now. Thanks Lombardi's for making me a valued customer. its unfortunate that the one fishmarket in central florida with a great selection. Has such a NASTY horrible witch that answers the phone and takes your money. Management needs to do something about this woman that works the cash register. Long story short I went in last weekend to get some Haddcock and Cod for $6.99lb they were out (I wonder if they even had any as I did not see a place for it) so the the fish mongers working the counter said we could order some and they would honor the price. We ordered 5lbs of each to pick up today. Because we are driving almost 1 hr we called to make sure it came in, thats when the nasty witch on the phone informed us that the price was double for the haddock and $1 per lb more for the cod. When I tried to talk to someone else she said TOO BAD And Hung up on me. I cannot believe people give service like this. Thank god the Whole Foods on Turkey Lake will open soon. I will never go back to Lombardi's again.. more
