I have been using Dr. Sigdestad since 1996 when I returned to Calif. He and his staff have always been above reproach. They truly are professional, concerning, caring, and very knowledgeable. I brought them 2 new patients today which I took away from another vet. I have to drive farther to see him; but he is well worth the extra mileage for the extra care I get from him and his staff. I brought my pet to the vet for a medical check up of a injured index claw. The claw was infected so the Doctor gave me some antibiotics for the infection. About two weeks later i returned with my pet and had the index claw removed. My husband was so impressed the way the surgery was done and especially with the stitches that were put on the small area. Everyone at the hospital was so nice to me and my pet. My first experience at the Loma Linda Animal hospital was great. I will certainly be bring my pet back here when needed. I had a young cat spayed. She never fully came around after surgery. She hemorrhaged to death (intra-abdominal hemorrhage) I realize now that she was in hemorrhagic shock when I picked her up. The nursing staff was oblivious to this. Improper ligatures on the cervical/uterine/ovarian stumps most likely. Something a bag of KD can't fix. I was a rescue dog, I was left in a abandoned house w/ 5 be-be bullets in my head, I recovered an was adopted by a lady from oregon, when I needed a health certif. to travel my new Mom took me here, the staff and the DR were very gentle and caring w/ me. I was lied to, multiple times and would never take my cats there again. If you care about your pets, DO NOT take them to this place, they will not recieve quality care.
