Okay, but Nothing Special 7/11/2005

We just returned from Galena and locals recommended this restaurant to us as well. Unfortunately, it was just barely mediocre. I had the pork chops which were okay, but truly nothing special. They were just pork chops with no seasoning and a bland flavor. The restaurant is okay, but don't expect anything special or anything near gourmet. I can make better pork chops than the Log Cabin. Also, note that the restaurant is VERY dark and the menu could be hard to read for some and may be romantic for others. Pros: veggies and dip Cons: service, very dark, decor more

great ribs 1/15/2004

All of the locals recomended this place and I am so glad we listened to them. We were really happy with the service, the food and the atmosphere. The strawberry shortcake was really good, but too big. Pros: Reasonably priced, good service, not noisy more
