Wow! What a restaurant. You can get a wonderfully prepared appetizer, small portion, full entree, salad and dessert. The wine is served in a tumbler and the selection is impressive. All of the ingredients are fresh purchased locally when available. The staff is friendly and attentive; the atmosphere casual. Local 188 is definitely worh a visit. Located in the Arts District of Portland, a reservation is always a good idea. more

This is a great restaurant. The wine is served in tumblers, the food is served in small (tapas), medium and full portions. I've eaten here numerous times and the food and service is always A+. Very casual and the music is not too loud, the chairs not too hard. In the Arts District on State Street, 188 to be exact, this is a restaurant to try. You'll go back. more
