We had the most delicious and relaxing late lunch here last Saturday. It was an iffy weather day so instead of going to the beach, we took a scenic drive up Rt 127 from Manchester-by-the-Sea. It was a gorgeous ride, topped off by this great little spot nestled on a cove. It is RIGHT on the beach and you can choose to eat inside or out on the picnic tables or spread out your blanket for a picnic. The lobster roll and pie were superb and others seemed to be enjoying their whole boiled lobsters. You can't beat this place, but try to go at off-peak hours - late lunch or early dinner time.
Pros: Best ""lobster in the rough"" I've found outside of Maine
Cons: can be crowded at peak times
