My husband and I have poor credit, therefore this is the only option allowed to us, however we have done this several times through out the years paying the high interest which is basically loan sharking is rediculous. Obviously you have to pay it back, but it is not reported to the credit bureaus unless you fail to pay it back, so it doesnt help you. Now to the point last year my husband took out a 800$ loan after paying back a 600$ one, and shortly after he made the first couple of payments he was hit by a teen driver not yeilding to the right of way, and totalled his Mercedes which was in Ecellent condition, mind you.. and totalled his car even after he contacted them and informed them about this, they refused to stop the interest and were so rude even though he was in the hospital and to this date struggling with his back neck and shoulder due to that has not been back to work... I would think they would appreciate the honesty of long time customers and stop the interest. We ended up paying nearly 1300$ back! Beleive it or not they are so hard up for business now they sent him a flyer for suspended interest on 500$ for 6 mo. Yeh right! even after we had to argue and when the insurance company over paid them we had to wait for our money for 3 months from them, we didnt get 378% interest on our money they had.. Imagine that...
Pros: fast cash with little info
Cons: high interest rates poor customer service
