All of Lizzy?s flavors are so tasty, I have a hard time deciding what to order. Their mint oreo, apple pie and banana flavors are among my favorites. They also have a wide variety...

Mmm...I love Lizzy's! Much better than the other local spots; try their "light" icecream - the Chocolate Almond Joy is my favorite! Located in Waltham on Moody St, they now have a store in Harvard Sq. Yay!! more

Lizzy's Homemade Ice Cream 3/20/2006

This is an excellent ice cream shop. Be warned - it can get crowded. the prices are reasonable. they even have ice cream for the lactose intolerant! there is not much parking so carpool if you are going with a lot of friends. i would go back if Lizzy's was closer but it was definitely a treat to get to try it once. I would recommend it to friends and family who are ice cream lovers!! This place is packed during the summer time. more

Expensive but Delicious 3/19/2006

On a hot summer night you'll be in line forever, but there's a reason for that. Lizzy's is delicious, and the mint oreo ice cream is just super and oh so refreshing. They have coffee and other treats, but it is tough to find a seat here, especially in warm weather and on weekend nights when the post movie crowd and after dinner crowd come over. You can get take out pints, but they are quite expensive. They have a good selection of flavors, and the quality is really good. more

Ice Creamery Goodness 8/12/2005

On a hot night the line at Lizzy's is around the door. Their homemade ice cream is rich and creamy. They offer traditional flavors as well as several unique additions, including "adult flavors" such as Rum Raisin and Kahlua. My personal favorite is Almond Joy which has huge chunks of the candy bar. They sell their ice cream in the pint and in cakes. They also carry baked goods, sandwiches and salads at lunch time. more

Mmm..ice cream! 8/3/2005

Lizzy's ice cream is a Waltham favorite. It's so rich and creamy...even their low fat frozen yogurt is just sooo good (I highly recommend Coffee Oreo). They have over 35 flavors available, sorbets, no-sugar added, "adult" flavors (such as Bailey's and Rum Raisin) and tofutti. You can even have a sundae party there! Definitely check it out, it's a cute little store that is big on taste! more
