Get ready for extrremely slow service, especially on a weekend. Unfortunately theyre the only game in town so if you want a bagel you dont have many choices. Bagels are pretty poor for being freshly made. Something youd expect from a place that has them delivered. Im from Ny so I expect more. ALso it would be nice if the wokers were more hygenic. They put their paws all over the bagels, tomatoes etc. How about putting a glove on both hands instead of one. Pros: only bagel in town Cons: many more

Liz Sue Bagels is a quality, friendly oriented bagel shop that offers friendly-service along with quality foods. I was very pleased with the service as well as the people and the bagels. Liz Sue Bagels have been in business for over 26 years and have been regarded as a Stamford Landmark, everyone that comes to Liz Sue leaves satisfied and eager to return. The rating of 8.5 does not do this establishment justice, then again, I am not sure that a 10 rating would either. Liz Sue Bagels is truly a superior bagelshop. What makes it superior is the fact that it combines family oriented service with a perfect dining atmosphere. Liz Sue Bagels has been around for 26 years and the main reason is the fact that it has established a very creditable consumer relationship, and the owners as well as the staff know what it takes to make the consumer thoroughly satisfied. liz sue bagels are truely the best bagels in conneticut. you have not tasted true cream cheese if you have never had liz sue cream cheese and you've never been truely filled if you havent eaten a gigantic slice of liz sue pizza. more
