Great place! 2/14/2012

I had to travel to Mandeville on business and was looking for a place to eat. One of the office workers at the company I was visiting recommended Liz's Where Y'at Diner, and I'm so glad I went! The people are really friendly and attentive, the restaurant is cheery, and everything I ordered was excellent. I will definitely eat here again when I visit Mandeville. more

Best Breakfast on the Northshore! 4/29/2011

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LIZ'S! I have always had wonderful service and terrific food. I love the fun, beachy decor and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Their seafood breakfast scramblers are outta sight - and their salads are divine! I like to pop in and see what the Chef is cooking up for daily (off menu) specials. I have had four star meals there - like seared tuna with mango chutney, steamed veggies and wild rice (for only $12!) One of my all time favorites is their Chicken Tortilla Soup - Can't eat this any place but Liz's. If you are on the Northshore - check it out. It's worth the trip! more

They serve delicious breakfast ALL DAY! They also offer a variety of freshly made lunches, including sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads and daily lunch specials. Liz's is well known throughout the New Orleans and Northshore areas for their delicious breakfast, like their specialty Scrambler breakfasts, with names like The Who Dat, The Cool Brees and The Shockey - in reference to the beloved New Orleans Saints. Another thing that makes Liz's so special is the owner and staff - you can expect to be greeted by Liz herself, and the entire wait staff seems to be wearing a smile at all time. The decor is also something to see, filled with fun beachy artwork from artist Wendy Prentice.
