Lizard Lounge

I used to love the Lizard Lounge, but not after tonight. We went in on a Tuesday because of the advertised 2 for 1 drink specials. This was listed on their web site, on Facebook, on the blackboard next to the bar, and also in their bathrooms. When we ordered the first round, the bartender also told us the drinks were 2 for one. What they don't tell you until after you've ordered a few rounds is that it is only specific drinks. $75 for a few drinks?! To top it off, I was unable to sing more than three songs because the KJ messed up the rotation, where some others who had arrived after we did sang 4-5 songs each. The bartender spent the evening exaggerating that they have everything ever made for karaoke when they don't. They have a large selection, but I asked for very specific versions of songs, and the KJ looked them up and they DIDN'T have them. We are done with this place. more

I finally found the Lizard Lounge after 2 tries!! Outside is quite deceiving. The Inside is very hi tech & Stunning & Very clean. The staff was very nice & friendly. I heard about the karaoke & finally went to see it. It's better than I could have imagined. You haven't sang karaoke unless you Sang karaoke @ the Lizard. Unfortunately they Don't have karaoke on Friday or Saturdays, I went down for it, but they had a Live Dance Band ( Great band) but no karaoke on the weekends??? We stayed & danced anyway & had a good time. I'm happy there was no charge to get in. Weekends are very busy & people were having fun. I go there every time I have a day off during the week to sing & I love the Lizard! I have a blast there. Warning this is upscale so dress good when u go here. Especially on the weekends. Pros: Cheap drink prices, Great Karaoke, Very Clean place!! Cons: Hard to find it!!!! more
